7th Annual Pottery Show

December 4th to 6th

The Clear As Mud pottery show promotes potters from throughout New Zealand and showcases the visual arts.

All proceeds from the sale of the artwork go back to the artist.

Clear As Mud will be held at Waihi Art Centre & Museum, 54 Kenny Street, Waihi‍ ‍

Friday 4th to Sunday 6th December 2026 10am to 4pm daily. Special opening event on Thursday 3rd December 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Submissions are invited from emerging and established ceramic artists. All levels of potters will be included from novice to professional.

Personal delivery and pick-up of all work is encouraged but arrangements can be made for shipment at the artists' expense. All work must be labeled with name and price.

Key Dates: Deadline for applications: Friday, November 6th 2026 or until we have reached capacity, whichever comes first!

Late applications will not be accepted.

We are unable to make refunds if you pull out of the exhibition or change your mind.

Works Delivered: Wednesday, November 3rd to Waihi Art Centre & Museum -54 Kenny Street between Noon - 2pm. If unable to make this time and date, please arrange for delivery to Black Shed Pottery 7 Margaret Street, Waihi (Please email Bridget to arrange a delivery time at blackshedpottery@gmail.com)

Opening Reception: Thursday, November 3rd, 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Exhibition Dates: Friday, Saturday, Sunday November 4th to 6th 10 am to 4pm daily

Pick Up of Unsold Work: Monday 7th November 10:00 am-Noon from the Waihi Art Centre and Museum-54 Kenny Street, Waihi. Unfortunately this year we do not have capacity to store uncollected items.
